Don't trash where you splash
Uvalde County Volunteer River Clean up
Summer Program
How it Works
- Gather your group.
- Float the River
- Pick up trash on the way down.
- Earn money for the charity of your choice!
How great fun rewarding is that?

The Details
Uvalde Volunteer River Cleanup Days are Monday - Wednesday during the Summer months to avoid the large groups of tourists. Contact Hailey for a list of available days. Groups will meet at the designated location, sign waivers, and be given t-shirts, trash bags, tubes, and other supplies needed. We will provide a place to put the trash you’ve collected. Cleanups can range between 2 - 8 hours, depending on the section and flow of the river. We will work with you to find a section that accommodates your schedule.
All participants must be at least 14 years of age, be competent swimmers and sign a waiver form before they participate. Persons under 18 must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
