Utopia Pioneer Days

Pioneer Day continues at Utopia Park in Utopia, Texas beginning at 4 PM with demonstrations, music, and a Dutch oven cook-off. The event will feature a performance by the Official Trick Roper of Texas, Kevin Fitzpatrick, and a chuck wagon display from Kelly Scott.

Dutch oven cook-off judging begins at 5 PM with teams representing early canyon pioneers competing in multiple categories. Additional cooks are welcome to bring a dish to share outside the competition, and attendees may sample dishes with a donation.

An acoustic pickers circle will begin around 4:30 PM. Admission to the park is free, with donations encouraged to support the local museum and library.
